You care about life, but what about the lives that will take that rats place and live an equally bad life? What about the lives of the mother rats who are forced to be nothing but breeding machines? With your $$ supporting the store you are essentially saying you agree with the treatment and that you support it. While I think every animal has a right to life and is deserving of a good home, I wont support abuse. I feel bad for all the puppies in pet shops who are probably sick and in need if vet care, but I wont buy them because I don’t support where they came from.

I don’t understand why it seems totally acceptable to support mills who produce small animals, but god forbid you support a puppy mill!! It just seems like a lot of ignorance.
